Don’t Fall for Their Con Game
December 16th, 2007 categories: Indianapolis Real Estate News, Indy Foreclosures
I recently posted, “Foreclosure Help in Indianapolis “ about where you can go to receive information when you are facing foreclosure.
A quote from the article:

Freddie Mac has launched an excellent video about these people and their scams. Don’t put your home and your family in the hands of someone who shows up at your door promising to help save your home.

The truth is, if someone shows up at your doorstep and informs you that deeding the property over will help you avoid foreclosure, you’ve just become a target of real estate fraud! Your local Real Estate Professional would never ask you to deed your property over… So either contact your local lender to negotiate an accord on payments or contact your local Realtor to investigate your options.
Thanks for sharing Paula!

Paula - ironically there is never a time people need a true real estate professional than in difficult situations like short sales and foreclosures - Cyndee
Paula, thanks for that very informative video. Really puts things in perspective.
Paula thanks for sharing this video. Homeowners facing foreclosure really need to watch out for the sharks that will come out. Then get with a reputable lender or real estate agent like you. - Ashley
