I’m Sorry, You’re a Waste of My Time
A Rant! This week I am in Arizona while we have new carpet and tile installed in preparation for listing our home next week. Another goal was to get estimates for moving when we do sell. I called a couple of different companies we have used before, Mayflower and United Van Lines to set appointments. While speaking to them, they understood we would be listing our home next week. I had one appointment set for today and one for tomorrow. Rose Mary, from United Van Lines came by today. She was professional, efficient, very pleasant and fun. Since we are paying our own...
The Things I Learned in Kindergarten Still Apply in Life and Blogging….
Although kindergarten taught me some basic lessons to be learned for life. It didn t end there. I have raised four children to adulthood, been married for almost thirty years, have had close family members pass away and in general, have learned many life lessons which have resulted in making me the person I am today. Blogging provides a whole new level of learning, as it pertains to life, business and real estate. Snowbird……… No Way!
Today was the first snow for the season in Indianapolis. I am sending this picture to my Realtor friend in Clearwater Florida who would like to have us all head south to buy a condo to escape the cold, I rather like the first snow and I like winter clothes. Really, who wants to wear a bathing suit all year? Moving south is a guise to cover up the fact they do not know how to drive in the snow, so they head south, at about the same time the birds do.. Thus, the name snow birds. It is a...
MiMi’s been MeMe’d
Scott Saghirian over at TopTechAgent, has meme’d me. I have gone 10 months without being meme’d. They have caught up to me; my luck has run out and now, I must disclose 5 things about myself. *I am MiMi to these beautiful grandchildren and enjoy every minute with them. In April we will add another grandchild, a girl. *I have been married to my husband, Don, for 28 years. He still calls me “His Bride”. I am the lucky one. *We have four adult children, who have made every moment in life a cherished one. Okay, maybe not every moment, but when...
