Arbuckle Acres Park In Brownsburg
July 4th, 2008 categories: Brownsburg Real Estate, Indy Places
Arbuckle Acres Park is located in Brownsburg, off 267, south of Highway 74. Directly inside the entrance you will find a soothing waterfall and garden with benches. It such a relaxing place to sit for awhile.
Or take a walk on the one mile paved path through densley wooded trail, which starts along the creek.
With two playgrounds, basketball and tennis courts, and eight shelters, Arbuckle Acres is a perfect place to plan a family get together.
Several annual events are scheduled at the park, as well as concerts. Find out more info here.

Indianapolis Historical Homes and Landmarks
July 1st, 2008 categories: Indy Places
I can imagine this late 19th – 20th century Revival home was an icon of wealth and prosperity in the early 1900’s. Originally designed and built for Henry F Campbell in 1916, the home was not completed until 1928, after World War I. Mr Campbell never lived in the home and in 1945, the home was converted to apartments.
In 1993, the Historic Landmarks Foundation rated the property “outstanding”, (the highest rating), which placed the Campbell Mansion on the National Register of Historic Places.
Check out the slideshow to see the amazing architect and beauty of this home.
